Antilla Shipwreck Snorkel Cruise

"The Antilla snorkel cruise blew us away. We swam right over the wreck masts and the catamaran crew was so much fun. Boca Catalina was full of fish and the open bar kept the rum punch flowing."

Arikok Jeep Safari

"The jeep safari to the natural pool was the highlight of our Aruba week. Bouncing through Arikok, the caves with the bats and rock paintings, and finally swimming inside Conchi protected from the open Atlantic. Unforgettable."

Yes. Aruba packs world-class snorkel sites like the Antilla shipwreck, the rugged Arikok park with the Conchi natural pool, perfect beaches and Caribbean sunset cats all on one small island. Most tours run year round.

Aruba is small (30 km long). Taxis are fixed-rate, the Arubus public bus runs Oranjestad to Palm Beach for $2.60. Most tours include hotel pickup. Rental cars are useful for Arikok and the south coast (Baby Beach, Mangel Halto).

Snorkel cruises run $60 to $110 per person with lunch and open bar. Jeep safari to Arikok and the natural pool $100 to $130. Sunset catamarans from $50. ATV tours from $90. Oranjestad walking tours from $30.

In high season December to April yes, top snorkel catamarans and the natural pool jeep safari sell out 2 to 5 days ahead. Free cancellation up to 24 hours means you can lock dates in without risk. Off-peak you can book the same day.

Palm Beach for the high-rise resort strip with all snorkel and sunset cruises departing on your doorstep. Eagle Beach for low-rise resorts and the most beautiful beach. Oranjestad for budget hotels and walking distance to the cruise port and shops.

Best day trips in Aruba: Arikok National Park with the Conchi natural pool, Baby Beach and San Nicolas in the south, Antilla shipwreck snorkel cruise, California Lighthouse and the Alto Vista chapel loop, and the Mangel Halto mangrove snorkel.

Arikok National Park is open daily 8 AM to 4 PM (last entry). Beach access is 24 hours. Most snorkel cruises depart 9 AM and 1 PM. Sunset cruises depart 5 to 5:30 PM. Oranjestad shops open 9 AM to 6 PM Monday to Saturday.

April to June is the sweet spot in Aruba: dry, warm, fewer crowds and lower rates than peak. December to March is peak with the best weather but most expensive. September and October are cheapest with occasional short showers.
